The CBAM Importer gives EU importers of CBAM-covered goods a dedicated place to see their CBAM certificate exposure inside the platform, without manual spreadsheet calculations.
Who this is for
This workspace is built for EU importers of CBAM-covered goods, primarily finance controllers and procurement managers who need to forecast 2027 certificate costs.
What you can do
View every import line item. A paginated grid lists each import line item together with its CBAM certificate requirement, CN code, country of origin, quantity, date of import, and (where provided) product name and supplier name. The grid is sortable by every column.
Group by supplier or CN code. Switch the grid between By line item, By supplier, and By CN code to find cost hotspots. Summary cards above the grid show your total CBAM certificates, total suppliers, and total CN codes.
See how a value was calculated. Click any row to open its details and see how the CBAM certificates for that line item were derived, including the default values used.
Remove records in bulk. Contributors and Admins can select multiple records with checkboxes, including across pages, and use Delete selected to remove them. A confirmation modal names the number of records before they're permanently deleted.
How certificate values are calculated
In this first version, certificate values use EU definitive-phase default values. Every row is tagged with value type Default; support for non-verified and verified actual-emissions value types is planned for a later release.
Getting your data in
In this first version, data upload is serviced: your import data, with CBAM certificate values already calculated on the EU definitive-phase default values, is prepared and loaded into the workspace for you. A CSV template and upload surface are available. Self-service upload of raw customs data, with the platform calculating certificates on-platform, is planned for a later release.
Roles and access
Three roles control what each user can do in the workspace:
Admin - full access across all importer data, plus user and subscription management.
Contributor - can upload data, view the grid, and bulk delete. No user or subscription management.
Viewer - read-only access to the exposure view.
Role is set when a user is invited. If no role is chosen, the default is Viewer.
